EXCLUSIVE: Dean Gild has been promoted to manager and producer at Mainstay Entertainment.
Gild started at Mainstay as an assistant in the talent department in August 2023, in January 2025 becoming department coordinator, where he developed and supported a growing roster of multifaceted talent across the industry. He was elevated to manager just this month.
“Dean represents the next generation of manager/producers—globally minded, creatively fluent, and focused on building bold, multidimensional careers. His promotion underscores our confidence in his vision and the future he is helping shape,” said Ray Moheet and Derek Van Pelt, who were just recently upped to Co-CEOs of Mainstay, as we reported exclusively.
Gild relocated to the United States from Australia for career purposes after graduating from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and the Victorian College of the Arts. He began in New York with Jean Doumanian Productions, supporting the creative development team across a diverse slate of theatre, film, and television projects. His career in talent representation led him to Los Angeles, where he joined the now defunct A3 Artists Agency‘s Talent Division before making his way to Mainstay.
