EXCLUSIVE: Peters, Fraser + Dunlop (PFD), which reps the likes of Michael Caine, Bear Grylls and Princess Diana’s brother Charles Spencer, has promoted Rosie Gurtovoy to run the development of its film and TV division.
Gurtovoy, who has brokered deals for Paramount+’s The Revenge Club and Netflix-A24’s Broken Toys, takes on the Head of Media Rights role.
Gurtovoy will lead the development of the film and TV department, with a focus on future strategy and growth. This comes “as we see greater diversification of rights and fresh opportunities in multiple formats emerging,” PFD said.

Gurtovoy joined PFD in 2018, becoming an associate agent in 2021 and an agent in 2023.
She has helped broker deals for J.D. Pennington’s The Othello Club, which was made into a Paramount+ TV show by Gaumont starring Martin Compston and Aimee-Ffion Edwards called The Revenge Club. She also repped London Book Fair hit Broken Toys, which Netflix and A24 are developing following a 16-way auction. She also supported Jo Murray’s Dissection of a Murder, which became part of Apple TV’s legal anthology Presumed Innocent.
Gurtovoy said: “I am grateful for the opportunities that PFD have given me, and I am thrilled to be taking this next step in helping to grow and shape the Media Rights department at PFD. It’s such an exciting time to be working at the intersection of media and publishing, and film/TV is only becoming more significant for writers. I’m really excited to continue working with my excellent colleagues, and championing the brilliant writers that I am so fortunate to represent.”
PFD CEO Caroline Michel added: “The Audio/Visual strand of our business is one of our key areas of growth and an area that Rosie is rapidly developing across the world on a multitude of platforms. It is exciting to see Rosie’s passion and enthusiasm for the authors and books transform into some of the hottest and most innovative deals in the market. We all look forward to working with Rosie to grow the Media Rights business creatively and commercially into the future.”
